Understand Body Composition- May 2017

Our bodies are made up of lean mass and fat mass. Fat mass is fat, that's easy. The easy way to define lean mass is that it's everything that isn't fat. The term body composition simply refers to the makeup of our bodies, that is, how much lean mass and how much fat mass we have.
